Carson turns 3!

Little Mr. Carson turned 3 on June 27th.
This little guy is full of life, and not afraid to go against the crowd, if it's not what he wants to do and he's not afraid to tell you so.  He is funny, has a million facial expressions which get him into and out of trouble,  sensitive and knows how to work it, and loves giraffes, hot dogs, puppies, fish, the outside and his family.
Happy Birthday Little Brother!
Happy Birthday Grandson!

Happy Birthday Son!

Carson chose to go to the zoo and to Chuckie Cheese for his birthday.
"I don't know..."

"Hey!!!!!!!He ate it!!!!"

"Be PATIENT, I'm getting more!!!"

Also, at Naibi Zoo, we fed the Lorikeets.  Last year Carson got to do this and Parker has been begging to try it ever since.  In honor of Cars birthday both boys got a cup.  We envisioned a scene like above.  Birds resting upon your arms gently taking sips of the nectar while you adorn their beautiful feathers.....
however,
what we got was Parker being surprised, excited,  terrified when the birds attacked landed on his shoulder.  He was certainly not expecting it!  Every living creature at the zoo, animals and humans alike were not expecting the terrifying screaming that came from our 4 year old while the birds continued to sit on his shoulder looking for the food cup which was dropped on the ground during the terrorizing event.   The bird keeper had to assure the rest of the patrons everything was ok!!!
Needless to say, we will NOT be feeding the birds for some time.

After all the excitement at the zoo we headed to Chuckie Cheese.  Games, music, pizza, giant cookie and candles....what 3 year old could ask for more!?! :)

Happy Birthday Carson!!

Vintage Yard Sale

We have a lot of stuff...a lot...
In preparation for looking for a larger house for all of our stuff we decided it was time to clean out and sell some of our stuff.  Since we are not technology trendy (aka we don't do craigslist or facebook, etc.) we had a good old fashioned yard sale.  A large yard sale.

The hard work was worth it and we are planning a do-over to sell the rest of our stuff in September to sell the "fall line" of Stecher cast offs!
Invite your friends! :)

Father's Day 2014

Travis wanted to spend Father's Day fishing with his boys and his dad.  So we obliged.  It was great fun and our little fishing hole was a "hot spot"!  No sooner did the boys cast their lines in then they were pulling them out with a bite on them.  All of the boys LOVED it!

Happy Father's Fishing day!

Vacation Bible School

This was Carson's first year at VBS.  He did a great job with big brother by his side.  Special thanks to Candi Moulton and all her helpers upstairs in "pre-school world" to make the boys comfortable and helped them have a memorable experience.

Even now, a month after VBS, both boys are still singing the theme song at random times in random places spreading God's word!

Memorial Day weekend 2014

With Memorial Day brought the highly anticipated arrival of 2 events....
Soccer game against our best buddies, Sawyer and Sophie
and
Grandma Chloe and Annica's birthday with a visit from the cousins at the soccer game!
We topped the weekend off with a super fun friend party where the boys got to stay up really, really, really late with a bubble machine,

fireflies, firepit, smores, and movie on the garage and of course no photos by mom...argh..
and the Memorial Day parade downtown.
Super fun weekend, what a way to kick off summer!!!

Bubbles in the mouth!!!!

End of Pre-School~ Parker

Parker ended his pre-school career on a successful note.  On the last day of pre-school he walked up to the door all by himself, and didn't need me to drive by the window so he could wave.
After a year of nervousness and apprehension with the help of his wonderful teacher and new friends Parker finally became ready for school.  His class celebrated with an end of year party at  Rotary Park.  He had a great time and will miss his buddies over the summer!

THANK YOU Mrs. Frakes for helping Parker prepare for pre-K! :)

Bowling Party

End of year Youth Group church bowling party had all the Stecher's enjoying some pizza, cake, and pin dropping.  Parker has been lucky to have Miss Terri for two years and we will miss her next year!
