Carson's Soggy Birthday Party

Another Stecher birthday party....another rainy day.

Seriously!?!  Who needs a weather forecaster?  Our neighbor said he's going to stop watching the weather and just ask us to have a birthday party when he wants rain for the lawn...

Never the less...everyone was in good spirits about being inside for the party.

The boys didn't care, they just wanted family, friends, and CAKE!

The birthday boy woke up refreshed and ready to go after a good nap!

 My first attempt at a homemade cake.  It turned out cute, I'm not sure as though we saved any money, and I can guarentee that I didn't save frustration. But at least I can say Carson got a "first" (and maybe a last)...a homemade cake.

The sun did come out for aprox. 15 minutes.  Enough time for everyone to get their plates and begin eating and then it opened up and poured again...back inside everyone! 

 

Carson got some wonderful, thoughtful presents and enjoyed opening them and the cards!

 

Bring on the cake mama! 

He LOVED having everyone sing to him!  Again, again, he said when we finished!

Happy Birthday buddy...we'll hope for sun next year! ;)
